Dear college students,
For some of you the semester has already begun. For others, the semester is approaching. As you all go back into your routine of papers and lectures, I challenge you to do something different this semester. I challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone.
When you’re outside of your comfort zone, I want you to turn around and tell me what do you see? Is it the fear of the unknown? Is it the many times you told yourself that you were going to make a change but it didn’t happen? Is it the comfort you get from familiarity? Is it the moments you told yourself you weren’t good enough?
All of those things prevent you from becoming a better you. You deserve to become a better you, we all do. All of you (whether you know it or not) have a reason for being here on this planet. Some of you may know that reason and some of you have no clue what that reason is. Whether you know it or not, you owe it to yourself to explore that reason or find that reason and see where it can take you. Go out into the world and be great. “Define greatness, chase it, and when you catch it (because you will),hold on to it.”
How much better could our world be if you created that thing you always wanted to create? Or if you did that thing you always wanted to do?
