The game between the Vikings and the Saints last night was amazing. Trailing for most of the game, the Saints found a way to put themselves in front of the Vikings with a 24 to 23 lead. With less than 15 seconds on the clock, the Vikings knew that they had to go out and make one last play to continue their journey to the Super Bowl.
The center hikes the ball to Case Keenum. With the defenders trying to plow through the offensive line, Case Keenum moves around and sees that Stefon Diggs is open. Case throws the ball to Stefon. Stefon catches the ball, almost slipping to the ground. Stefon uses his arm to catch his balance and sprints to the end zone!!!
When the Saints kicked a field goal that gave them a 1 point lead, the Vikings did not give up. They did not immediately tell themselves that the game was over or that the situation was to difficult to overcome. The Vikings decided to count themselves in.
There are going to be moments where you are going to be doing really well and then, BOOM, something changes that. At that moment you may feel that all your hard work was just wasted time. Don’t believe that. Count yourself in every time. Tell yourself that you’re going to keep on pushing through, even if a setback seems like a huge downfall. The opportunity for a comeback can not only be your testimony, but also proof that you have the power to overcome obstacles. “Count yourself in every time, because you never know when it is going to be your moment to shine”.
